This qualification prepares workers to provide person-centred support to individuals who require assistance due to ageing, disability, or other reasons. Workers use discretion and judgement to follow an individualised plan in a community or residential setting, and take responsibility for their own outputs. The course covers factual, technical, and procedural knowledge, as well as theoretical concepts and practices related to person-centred support.
This disability support qualification prepares workers to empower people with disabilities to achieve greater levels of independence, self-reliance, community participation, and wellbeing. Workers may provide training and support in a range of community settings and clients’ homes, working without direct supervision and may be required to supervise and/or coordinate a small team. A person-centred approach is promoted throughout the course to ensure the highest level of support for those in need.
This mental health support qualification readies workers to empower individuals experiencing mental health issues to attain greater levels of independence, self-reliance, community participation, and wellbeing.
This qualification is designed to prepare community services, case management, and social housing workers for managing, coordinating, and/or delivering person-centred services to individuals, groups, and communities. The course covers a range of skills, including communication, problem-solving, advocacy, and leadership, to enable workers to effectively support those in need.
11076NAT Diploma of Leadership in Disability Services will provide you with the skills and knowledge to lead a high performing team, deliver effective services to NDIS participants, and contribute to the growth of your organisation.
This qualification is designed for workers who aspire to become middle managers or managers in a range of community sector organisations. As middle managers or managers, these people work independently and report to executive management, directors, or boards of management.
These certifications will equip you with the skills and knowledge required to provide a first aid response to a casualty in line with first aid guidelines determined by the Australian Resuscitation Council (ARC) and other Australian national peak clinical bodies. The courses cover a range of topics, including CPR, first aid management of bleeding, fractures, and other injuries, to enable workers to effectively respond to emergencies.
