CONSIDER AN RPL PATHWAY

Under the Standards for Registered Training Organisations (RTOs) 2015, an RTO must offer recognition of prior learning (RPL) to individual learners. Offering RPL ensures that you have the opportunity to participate in assessment that is flexible and fair.

RPL is an assessment-only process that assesses the competency of an individual—competency which may have been acquired through formal, non-formal and/or informal learning.

This qualification prepares workers to provide person-centred support to individuals who require assistance due to ageing, disability, or other reasons. Workers use discretion and judgement to follow an individualised plan in a community or residential setting, and take responsibility for their own outputs. The course covers factual, technical, and procedural knowledge, as well as theoretical concepts and practices related to person-centred support.

GET CERTIFIED IN FIRST AID RESPONSE

These certifications will equip you with the skills and knowledge required to provide a first aid response to a casualty in line with first aid guidelines determined by the Australian Resuscitation Council (ARC) and other Australian national peak clinical bodies.
