ABOUT THE PROGRAM

Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of older adults? Our Introductory Aged Care Program is designed for individuals looking to start their career in this high-demand and fulfilling industry.

Delivered online, this program provides foundational knowledge to prepare you for future roles in the aged care sector.

This course consists of 4 nationally recognised units of competency that form part of the full qualification (CHC33021 Certificate III in Individual Support), helping you take the first step towards further studies or direct employment.

Course Duration: You will have 3 months to complete
Learning Platform: Our online learning management system

This program has been designed with flexibility in mind, allowing you to learn at your own pace while receiving support from our experienced trainers.

UNITS OF COMPETENCY

The program includes the following units:

CHCCOM005 Communicate and work in health or community services
CHCLEG001 Work legally and ethically
CHCDIV001 Work with diverse people
CHCCCS041 Recognise healthy body systems

These units form part of the qualification CHC33021 Certificate III in Individual Support.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION

It is important to note that completion of this program DOES NOT guarantee a seat in the full Certificate III in Individual Support program currently offered at the Honiara Campus.

The application process still for that program applies.

The completion of this program will enable graduates to gain direct credits for the Certificate III in Individual Support, which reduces the face to face requirements, if accepted in the program

Eligibility Requirements: Must pass our Language, Literacy, Numeracy and Digital Skills Assessment

2. Receive confirmation of your LLND results and receive an offer
3. Pay your course fees
  - You will find our bank details at the bottom of the enrolment form and in the form receipt you will receive. Payment MUST be received via Direct Deposit, Cash or TT within strictly 7 days of us receiving your enrolment form, or your application will expire.
