CHC43121 Certificate IV in Disability Support

This qualification reflects the role of individuals in a range of community settings and peoples’ homes, who provide support in a manner that empowers people with disabilities to achieve greater levels of independence, self-reliance, community participation and wellbeing. Workers promote a person-centred approach, work according to and may contribute to an individualised plan, and work without direct supervision. They may be required to supervise and/or coordinate a small team.Our training is delivered by fully qualified Trainers and Assessors with many years of industry experience, fully equipped training centre that is vital practical experience. Being able to practice on the right equipment for the job will enable you to be job ready when you graduate.

Upon successful completion of this course you will receive CHC43121 – Certificate IV in Disability Support (which is a nationally recognised qualification).

LEARN @ HOME

Study from home, online self-paced, where you will have up to 12 months to complete
or

Study online, via out trainer-led program where you will study for 20 weeks, attending fortnightly online tutorials (Mondays 3pm-7pm)

A total of 10 units of competency are required to complete this qualification

This course is currently funded for eligible students. Students are required to pay a co-contribution fee.

Students eligible for subsidised training under government funding programs can normally only access the funding once, so it is important that you choose your course carefully.

Concession Holders – $30.00 ($3.00 per unit)
Non-Concession Holders – $60.00 ($6.00 per unit)

Fee for Service Fee – $2,500

**PAYMENT PLANS AVAILABLE FOR FEE FOR SERVICE STUDENTS**

$200 deposit must be paid upon enrolment, then weekly or fortnightly payments. (This amount is inclusive of the total fee)
All Fee for Service fees must be paid in full prior to Certificate being issued

All payment plans incur a small fee which will be outlined in the Payment Plan agreement with Pay Advantage https://www.payadvantage.com.au

  • Assessment in the workplace for existing workers in the industry
  • All course materials, tuition, work placement and support services are included in the total course cost

Successful applicants will need to:

  • Have a level of language, literacy and numeracy ability appropriate for a Certificate III course

Additionally, applicants must have:

  • Completion of: CHC33021 Certificate III in Individual Support (Disability)

OR

  • Completion of: CHC33015 Certificate III in Individual Support (Disability)

OR

  • Completion of: CHC30408 Certificate III in Disability PLUS the CHCSS00125 Entry to Certificate IV in Disability Support Skill Set.

Students are expected to be employed in a Disability Support role, with access to people living with disability.

Work-based assessment is required.
