CPR Courses
Equinox College offers CPR courses for those looking to become certified in the life-saving skill. The course comes in two different forms: a community-level course and an advanced-level course. The community-level course is designed for those with little to no medical background and is meant to provide basic CPR knowledge and skills. This course can be taken online or in person and is offered in both English and Spanish.
The advanced-level course is designed for those who have experience in medical fields and is meant to provide more in-depth knowledge and skills. It is offered in person and covers topics such as basic life support, advanced cardiac life support, paediatric advanced life support, and neonatal resuscitation. It also requires that students demonstrate their knowledge and skills through a series of practical assessments.
Both courses are approved and cover the latest in CPR guidelines and techniques. Upon successful completion of either course, students will receive a certification card that is valid for two years.

CPR Courses South East Queensland
The community-level course includes topics such as adult and infant CPR, choking relief, and the use of automated external defibrillators (AEDs). Students will learn how to recognize when CPR is needed, how to assess the scene, and how to perform CPR on adults and infants. They will also learn how to recognize and care for a choking victim, as well as how to use an AED.
The advanced-level course includes more detailed instruction on topics such as advanced airway management, cardiac rhythm recognition, and the use of advanced medical equipment. Students will learn how to perform advanced CPR techniques and how to use medical equipment such as a pulse oximeter and a defibrillator. They will also learn how to recognise and treat common cardiac rhythms and how to manage cardiac arrest scenarios.
CPR training is essential for anyone who works in the medical field or who is looking to become certified in CPR. Equinox College offers comprehensive courses that are approved by the American Heart Association and are sure to provide students with the knowledge and skills they need to save lives.
