The HLTAID009 Provide Basic Emergency Life Support unit of competency has been developed to provide first aiders with the skills and knowledge required to provide a first aid response to a casualty. 

The unit applies to all workers who may be required to provide a first aid response in a range of situations, including the workplace, the home and within the community.

Equinox Training’s HLTAID009 CPR course will give you the skills and knowledge to provide emergency life support, manage an incident and apply appropriate first aid techniques to an adult, child or infant casualty.

Upon successful completion of this course, students will receive a nationally recognised statement of attainment.
